Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 4, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and used on dividebyzero.pl. The data controller is:

Business nameDivide By Zero Paweł Pałyga
Addressul. Malborska 29/7, 30-646 Kraków, Poland
NIP6762323124
Privacy contactprivacy@dividebyzero.pl

Further identifying details are available in our Legal Notice.

2. What data we collect

We only collect personal data that you actively provide through the contact form on this site:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The project details you choose to describe

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising/tracking scripts of its own. Our hosting infrastructure may process standard technical data (such as IP address and request metadata) automatically as part of delivering the site and keeping it secure — this is inherent to how the web works and is not used by us to identify or profile visitors.

3. Why we process your data and on what legal basis

We process the data you submit via the contact form to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract. The legal bases relied on under Art. 6 GDPR are:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) — processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; and
  • Art. 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries directed to us.

4. Who we share your data with

Contact form submissions are processed using Formspree, Inc. (USA), a third-party form-handling service that delivers submissions to our inbox. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf. Because Formspree is based in the United States, submitted data is transferred outside the European Economic Area; this transfer is governed by Formspree's own privacy policy, available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with any other third party.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain contact form submissions only for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting correspondence — generally no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or because a contract resulting from our correspondence requires a longer retention period under Polish accounting or civil law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Request erasure of your data;
  • Restrict or object to processing;
  • Request portability of your data; and
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@dividebyzero.pl. In Poland, the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

7. Security

This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we only collect the minimum data needed to respond to your inquiry.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
